Spelunking at SAGADA

Of cave connections and porno rock formations =P

deep down the jungle, our tour guide brought us...
armed with a gas lamp and a bottle of gas...
we followed him through and through...
wriggling our way through this.

Oh wow, can the man split or what?! =P
Please take note that the lamp is really hot!
The human ladder/ guide.
Another wriggling moment through the small hole.
cold clear water - had to go through that as well.
then the crossroad - to left or to right?

Then we reached the "dance floor" somewhere between the caves. While our guide was resting, we entertained ourselves shadow-playing. I never knew it could be fun. =))

Then off we went again to more rock formations and awesome natural things...

Presenting the porno rock formations:

the princess
*Disclaimer: The porno rock formations was brought to you by our Tour Guide. =P

going down was an easy task...

going up was the beast...

finally.

We spent around 4 hours spelunking-sliding, twisting, turning, wriggling, swimming, climbing, dancing, laughing... And i'd do it all over again!

Conquering Sagada: Day1 Hanging Coffins and Cave entrance

After a quick itinerary planning, we changed into our hiking outfits and set out with no time to waste.

First up, the hanging coffins...

Look closely. See those coffins? That's where we went.
It was not an easy feat. Watch out for bears! lol
After a few slides and butt falls, we reached our destination. Presenting the sacred ground of the hanging coffins!

Climbing down the mountain was already a challenge, now crossing it to get to the cave opening was another story...

We had to defy some boulders...

Climb some hills...

Cross the stream...

To get a good picture of the cave...

...and what was inside it.

Then we said bye-bye to the cave in pursuit of better views...

We passed-by some terraces- No, that it is not Banawe Rice Terraces.

We were headed for the falls...

The small but still great and majestic in my eyes captured my heart. I <3 falls. =P

And that was the first day of our Sagada trip!
